Retain Existing Phone Numbers with Amazon Connect

If you are not able to migrate your existing phone numbers to Amazon Connect, Comstice offers a solution to retain old numbers and integrate them with Amazon Connect features. Click here to learn more about Amazon Connect SIP Scenarios.

New Amazon Connect WebRTC Widget

Amazon Connect launched a new feature where you can generate calls from a web page, IOS, and Android device and handle them with Amazon Connect Contact flows. This means that, for handling customer calls on Amazon Connect, you do not need to receive them from PSTN only; you can also receive them as WebRTC calls.

Comstice WebRTC Gateway

Comstice offers a WebRTC Gateway solution that converts WebRTC sessions into SIP and vice versa. This gateway includes Comstice SIP Session Border Controller (SBC) which can terminate a SIP Trunk from your ITSP or your existing IP-PBX. A call received from your existing phone number can be terminated as a SIP call and extended to Comstice WebRTC Gateway. Comstice WebRTC Gateway then converts this session to an Amazon Connect session and triggers the contact flow of your choice.

If there is any additional information you want to send to Amazon Connect agents such as calling number, customer identification, and other information, they can be sent as Amazon Connect call attributes. Comstice can modify the attributes with the relevant information and these key/value pairs will be displayed on the agent’s screen.
