Comstice IVR can work with your existing Avaya Interactive Response as an MRCP resource for ASR and TTS. It can also run as a standalone solution to replace Avaya Interactive Response. Comstice IVR solution runs on your network or your private cloud as a separate virtual server or as a Kubernetes pod. It integrates with Avaya Interactive Response using MRCPv1. Avaya Interactive Response Configuration
To configure Avaya Interactive Response, use the web administration tools and choose the Administration settings under the Speech and DPR Administrator menu choice;
- Click the Assign New Recognition Type button.
- Set the Engine type to mrcp-ibm
- Fill in the relevant settings. Make sure that the IP Address is the IP address of your Comstice IVR Server.
- Make sure that the Server Name is the Comstice IVR Server's IP address.
- Once the server is configured, you need to assign services and applications to the new ASR server in Avaya.
