LiveKit AI Voice Assistant FAQ

Avaya Call Reporting Sample Report
  • What is the license model for LiveKit?

LiveKit is licensed under Apache license. The Apache License is a permissive open-source software license that grants users broad rights to use, modify, distribute, and sublicense software. It allows users to integrate the code into proprietary software and distribute it under a different license. The Apache License, developed by the Apache Software Foundation, permits use of the software for any purpose, including commercial use. It grants rights to both copyrights and patents, unlike some other permissive licenses that only apply to copyrights.

  • Do I need additional licenses to use Comstice?

Yes. Comstice AI Modules are licensed separately. You can either use the existing Comstice AI Modules or Comstice can create new AI modules for your business. The license is based on the number of vectors. There is no license limit for the users or concurrent users.

  • Can we create our own AI Modules?

You can create AI Modules that can be integrated with your LiveKit instance. In that case, vector databases will be separate from the Comstice Vector DB.

Also, the maintenance and improvement of these AI modules will be your responsibility.

  • Can I run this in AWS or Google Cloud?

Yes LiveKit supports Docker, Openshift and Kubernetes. You can run it in any cloud environment.

Success!
